The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Zone C, has said hike in tuition fees in some higher institutions of learning in the country is a heavy burden on poor parents.
Zone C’s Deputy Coordinator, Mathew Dafoum Naankin, made this known during a press briefing in Lafia by the leadership of the association, in collaboration with the Youth for Good Governance.
He said the decision to increase fees by the management of some higher institutions of learning had created untold hardship to parents, especially the poor ones, thereby affecting the education of their children negatively.
