A renewed calmness and sense of “Renewed Passion for Polo” now pervert the Garden City of Port Harcourt as Henry Agbojan, Dolapo Attoni, Ikenna Nebolisa among others take over the leadership of the foremost polo heaven and the flagship of Niger Delta game of Kings with a promise to deliver on all fronts.

Former Vice President of Port Harcourt Polo Club, Henry Agbodjan was elected to lead the new management committee of the foremost club that would run the club’s affairs for the 2024/2025 season.

The new management committee was put in place to pilot the club’s affairs after a peaceful and successful election held at the Club House of the club on June 30, 2024, following the gentlemanly decision of the incumbent President, Ebi Diriyal to step down voluntarily.

Polo Royals report that others who were elected into the new management committee are Barrister Dolapo Attoni who emerged the Vice President, the former Deputy Tournament Manager, Dr Ikenna Nebolisa who is the new Captain, Raphael Olowu as the Treasurer and Kester Buzugbe as secretary.

Other elected officers of the twelve members New Management Committee include Victor Ojum, Austin Onimisi, Alfred Okubo, Manasis Adams, Peter Batuba, Tito Ifejika and Madam Nnene Onouha who serves as Membership Secretary of the club.

In his acceptance speech, Agbojan stated that as the new President he will always have deep respect for the immediate past President, Ebi pledging that his passion for the noble game that has become the biggest and the most popular sporting activities in Port Harcourt would receive his utmost commitment.
