The board of Portland Paints & Products Nigeria Plc, a subsidiary of UAC of Nigeria Plc, has announced the appointment of Mr. Mukhtar Yakasai as the Managing Director of the company with effect from 23rd October 2015.
Until his appointment, Mr. Yakasai was the special projects manager at UAC.  Mr. Yakasai, who started his career with Chemical and Allied Products Plc, a subsidiary of UAC, in July 1985, was the former Managing Director of Spring Waters Nigeria Limited (SWAN) and Warm Spring Waters Nigeria Limited, all of the UAC Group.
A graduate of Agricultural Economics and Masters of Business Administration holder from Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, Kaduna State, Mr. Yakasai has attended various local and overseas courses in Sales, Customer Service and Marketing, Leadership and General Management, Strategy & Finance,  and Mergers & Acquisitions.
He is also an Alumnus of Ashridge Business School, UK,  member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered) and holds an honorary fellowship of the Institute of Administrative Management of Nigeria.
