The Osun State governor, Mr Adegboyega Oyetola, yesterday begged residents of the state to keep maintaining social distance and personal hygiene, as well as use nose cover with the easing of lockdown in the state.
Addressing traders at the Igbonna market in Osogbo, the state capital, Gov Oyetola lauded the people of Osun for supporting the efforts of the state government to curtail the spread of Covid-19.
The governor noted that the cooperation of the people during the four-week lockdown helped in no small way to control the spread of the virus in the state.
The traders assured the governor that they would continue to abide by the instructions relating to Covid-19 in their own interest and for the safety of everybody in the state.
