The National President of the Police Officers Wives Association (POWA), Mrs Elizabeth Egbetokun, has empowered 150 vulnerable women and widows of fallen police officers in Delta State.

City & Crime reports that the POWA president who empowered the beneficiaries during her three-day visit to the state’s police command, said the empowerment was a commitment by the association to provide the necessary tools to enable the beneficiaries to thrive in the face of the economic challenges.

She noted that the role played in the lives of officers and the society by POWA was immeasurable.
