Powerful influences around the King
Kings have power but there are influences that decide how that power is used. Herodias influenced Herod to behead John the Baptist. Mark 6:23-25, “And he sware unto her, Whatsoever thou shalt ask of me, I will give it thee, unto the half of my kingdom. [24] And she went forth, and said unto her […]
Kings have power but there are influences that decide how that power is used. Herodias influenced Herod to behead John the Baptist.
Mark 6:23-25, “And he sware unto her, Whatsoever thou shalt ask of me, I will give it thee, unto the half of my kingdom. [24] And she went forth, and said unto her mother, What shall I ask? And she said, The head of John the Baptist. [25] And she came in straightway with haste unto the king, and asked, saying, I will that thou give me by and by in a charger the head of John the Baptist. [26] And the king was exceeding sorry; yet for his oath’s sake, and for their sakes which sat with him, he would not reject her.”
Haman instigated king Ahasuerus to make a decree to kill Mordecai and his people, the Jews, to settle a personal grudge. And he offered to pay for the genocidal plan.
Esther 3:8-9 NKJV, “Then Haman said to King Ahasuerus, There is a certain people scattered and dispersed among the people in all the provinces of your kingdom; their laws are different from all other people’s, and they do not keep the king’s laws. Therefore it is not fitting for the king to let them remain. [9] If it pleases the king, let a decree be written that they be destroyed, and I will pay ten thousand talents of silver into the hands of those who do the work, to bring it into the king’s treasuries.”
The King signed the decree. Bad advisers can cause the destruction of whole ethnic groups. It’s still happening today. It took a special prayer and fasting warfare to reverse this order and turn things around. Your family might be in trouble for things you know nothing about. God will deliver you, in Jesus name!
Joseph was a victim of the cruelty of Potiphar’s wife who had influence on her husband.
The counsel of Ahithophel would have ruined King David when he was fleeing from Solomon his son, but God raised a counter counsel.
2Samuel 15:31, “And one told David, saying, Ahithophel is among the conspirators with Absalom. And David said, O LORD, I pray thee, turn the counsel of Ahithophel into foolishness.”
Those who know how to please the King can get anything the king has. King Herod promised to give a little girl (Herodias’ daughter) anything up to half of his kingdom. God does not promise you half, He promised all. If it’s in the kingdom you can have it.
God will protect and defend you against anyone calling for your head, in Jesus name. This was the type of prayer David prayed that turned a negative voice sour in the mind of his son who overthrew him and wanted to kill him.
We need to constantly pray for our leaders and their advisers that God will help them to make decisions that will serve the interest of the populace rather than destroy them.
You Need A Voice To Speak For You
1Samuel 16:16-18, “Let our lord now command thy servants, which are before thee, to seek out a man, who is a cunning player on an harp: and it shall come to pass, when the evil spirit from God is upon thee, that he shall play with his hand, and thou shalt be well. [17] And Saul said unto his servants, Provide me now a man that can play well, and bring him to me. [18] Then answered one of the servants, and said, Behold, I have seen a son of Jesse the Bethlehemite, that is cunning in playing, and a mighty valiant man, and a man of war, and prudent in matters, and a comely person, and the LORD is with him.”
God put upon the king a problem whose solution was in the pocket of David. David, a shepherd boy, a young boy majority did not know; a young boy whose talent and potential was not even recognized by his own family was just doing his own business by the backside of the desert. The problem was how he was going to get to the palace where he was needed. God raised a voice somewhere in the palace. And the servant said I have seen a son of Jesse.
God is going to raise a voice for you in the day of your promotion!
I don’t know what they did with the head of John the Baptist, but they asked for it. I decree judgment on anyone asking for your head! Whoever is plotting your downfall will fall! I cancel every sentence of harm or death on your life, in the name of Jesus!
The enemy will not succeed in shedding your blood or the blood of any of our loved ones!
Whoever is plotting your death will go in your place. In Jesus name. God will turn the counsel of every Ahithophel in your life to foolishness. God will turn every influence in your favour. No case will be decided against you, in Jesus name.
Jesus Christ Is Our Advocate
Jesus Christ eternally influenced the Father to spare your life and my life when He went to the Cross to pay the penalty for our sins. Isaiah 53:3-5. And He is still influencing the Father in your favour through His persistent and consistent intercession for us.
He is our Eternal Advocate. He is my Attorney who argues my case against the devil in the Courts of Heaven. Every time the enemy brings up an accusation against me, He defends me. He tenders His blood as evidence of my innocence. Every time the enemy says I cannot have something; Jesus tenders His blood as the payment He made to secure my eternal inheritance. Each time the enemy comes to demand for permission to afflict me, Jesus stands and says, “No devil, you can’t touch him, I’ve been afflicted for him.”
Each time the devil comes to torment my body with sickness, Jesus stands and says, “No devil, you can’t touch him, I’ve carried his sickness on my body.” Each time the devil comes to demand for my life to kill me, Jesus stands and says, “No devil, you can’t touch him, I’ve already died for him.”
Jesus paid every debt I owed and will ever owe. He carried every burden I will ever carry. He suffered every affliction I will ever suffer.
God who raised a voice for David will raise a voice for you!
May God raise a voice for you in the day of adversity!
May God raise a voice for you in the day of your promoted!
May God raise a voice for you when negative voices want to pull you down!
May strangers raise their voices to support you when you have no supporters!
As we recover from this pandemic, my God raise a voice for your restoration!
Heaven will rush your breakthrough to you!
God will compress time for you and give you your breakthrough quicker than anyone can imagine!
I see you moving forward, I see you moving higher with speed, in the name of Jesus!
