The Petroleum Products Pricing Regulatory Agency (PPPRA) has donated an ambulance to Kwali general hospital, Abuja.
Speaking while handing over the ambulance to the hospital management on behalf of the PPPRA yesterday, secretary of the hospital, Garba Ibrahim, said the donation was part of the agency’s corporate social responsibility.
He said the donation was aimed at improving service delivery and also consolidate on the good work of the hospital’s Chief Medical Director (CMD), Dr. Halima Bello. Also speaking, the acting secretary of the Health and Human Services Secretariat (HHSS) Dr. Mathew Ashikene, thanked the management of the PPPRA for donating the ambulance to the hospital.
He said the donation would enhance effective service delivery of the hospital.
Dr. Halima Bello, expressed delight to the management of the PPPRA for the kind gesture. She noted that the donation came to her as a surprise, saying “we were not aware and do not even know the people from anywhere.
She assured the management of the PPPRA of making good use of the ambulance donated to the hospital.
