Hajiya Rakiya Adamu-Amadodo, 84 year-old surviving elder sister of President Muhammad Buhari,on Saturday discharged her civic duties by casting her vote during the Gubernatorial and State Assembly elections.
A Correspondent of the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Daura reports that the octogenarian covered a distanced of 100 meters on foot to her Kofar Baru 002 polling unit in Daura to exercise her franchise at exactly 12.34 pm.
Adamu-Amadodo was escorted by her grand-children,relations and well wishers to the venue of voting venue.
Her polling unit has no fewer than 854 registered voters who are expected to cast their vote. (NAN)
