He said that the commercial value of a farmland of that size in the FCT-Abuja, excluding structures, cannot be less than that amount.
His words: “Except the president used his powers to influence the FCT minister, the farmlands cannot be less than that amount.’’
He averred that the choice of Airport Road for the president’s farm could be due to the fast growing nature of the area and its closeness to the airport.
He said: “Just like Maryland in Ikeja, Lagos, and Airport Road is going to be the hub of Abuja soon because of its proximity to the city centre. Also, real estate investors are putting up structures there. So, the farmland is strategically located, maybe to serve his business interest when the time comes.”
