In mid-week, 3SC fell 2-1 at newly-promoted Wikki Tourists in Bauchi.

They have also drawn three games at home in the new season to draw the wrath of the fans, who have demanded for the removal of club manager Mutiu Adepoju, among other things.

“I don’t know what is really going on because we are playing good football, it is just luck that is not on our side,” lamented Allen, who was hired on the eve of the new season.

“Nobody is happy, so don’t make news out of our predicaments. We have played four matches and we drew three of these matches. So, what is the problem?”

Underfire Adepoju denied knowledge that he has been asked to quit his post.

“It is not true, I’m not aware of such a thing and I’ve not done anything wrong,” Adepoju told MTNFootball.com

“In football, you win, draw or lose. What is going on right now with Shooting Stars might not be well but we are working on turning around the team.

“I am assuring our teeming fans that ‘The Oluyole Warriors’ will soon take their rightful position on the table.”

Adepoju maintained he was not asked to resign by Oyo State sports commissioner, Dapo Lam Adesina, soon after the 1-1 draw with Sunshine Stars at home last Saturday.

In the meantime, former Enyimba defender Nojeem Raji has begun training with the Ibadan club, while Afeez Awakan and Adigun Lateef are both fit again.
