Adamu said this last Wednesday in Kaduna at the opening of Synod of Kaduna Archdiocese of the Catholic Metropolitan See.He said the church was confronted with the challenges of internal communion such as cultural practices, inheritance and polygamy.

Others, he said, were the challenges of tribalism and poverty.According to him, the church has to come up with ways of overcoming such challenges as the early church did when it was faced with its internal problems.

He urged the archdiocese to evolve ways of addressing those challenges as it was planning a new vision for the next 10 years in the synod.Adamu advised the church to return to the days of collective sharing as was evidenced in the book of the Acts of the Apostles. (NAN)
