The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall have arrived in Oman at the start of an official Middle East tour.
On the first day of their visit, the prince took part in a ceremonial sword dance and later toured the new National Museum, in Oman’s capital Muscat. Meanwhile, Camilla visited the Oman Cancer Association’s Dar Al Hanan Hostel, meeting children and parents.
During the seven-day trip they will also visit the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain, with 50 engagements planned.
The couple are promoting UK partnerships in areas including wildlife conservation and women in leadership during the visit, which has been organised by the UK government.
