The Chartered Institute of Professional Printers of Nigeria (CIPPON), the apex body charged with regulating, controlling and administration of the Nigeria printing industry and its value chain, said it is working to reform the printing industry.

In a statement yesterday, the President and Chairman-in-Council of CIPPON, Amb. Niyi Adesoye, stated that the council has agreed to engage all critical stakeholders within and outside the print value chain to support the Nigeria print industry with a requisite enabling environment for print professionals.

Adesoye noted that the resolution during a statutory council member meeting held in Abuja, sought strict adherence to the CIPPON ACT of 2007, by enforcing compliance with the establishment of the disciplinary tribunal of the institute headed by the first Vice President, Lion Adenekan with Chairman of the Investigation Panel as Mr Koko Clement.

CIPPON also approved the appointment and creation of state chapter exco for one year to enable the state coordinator to assist council members in piloting some of their duties in all the states of the federation.

Malam Abubakar Mohammed was reappointed as the Registrar of the institute, while a local organising committee was raised for the Annual General Meeting (AGM) for 2023 in Delta State.
