The President of Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN), Hajia Zuwairat Talatu Kishimi has advised new Practitioners to consistently prioritize expertise and excellence in their service delivery.

She stated this while delivering her address during the Orientation and Induction ceremony of new practitioners at the Association’s second session of 2026 Mandatory Professional Practitioners Forum (MPPF) held in Lagos.

The President noted that their induction as practitioners automatically transforms them as ambassadors of the Association by virtue of their capacity to drive public perception of the profession through valuable services.

Kishimi further reaffirmed the Association’s readiness to support the practitioners with capacity building programmes in enhancing their proficiency.

“ANAN stands with you through targeted programmes, development platforms, and the MPPF. We are investing in your growth,” she said.

The ANAN Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Kayode Olushola Fasua in his speech enjoined the new practitioners to see their induction as a call to service and commitment to upholding professional standards, continuous professional development, and credible public practice.

The Chairman, Practising and Quality Control Committee, Prof. Abuchi Ogbuju in his remarks urged the new practitioners to always demonstrate responsible character and expertise in order to foster public trust in their services.
