The Director-General and Global Liaison of the Nigeria-China Strategic Partnership, Joseph Tegbe, has noted that private enterprises from China and Nigeria will play a key role in fostering a mutually beneficial bilateral relationship between both countries.
He stated this at the Abuja Convention Centre while delivering a keynote address at the 18th China Engineering and Technology Expo.
The event, which was organised by Chinese International Contractors Association, brought together members of the Chinese Business Community and officials from Hunan Province in China, as well as key stakeholders in Nigeria.
Stakeholders, who spoke at the event underscored the importance of fostering stronger trade relations and exploring sustainable development initiatives between Nigeria and China.

Daily Trust reports that the Expo was graced by Nigeria’s Minister of Transportation, the Minister of Works, former Minister of Information Lai Mohammed, and high-ranking officials from prominent organisations such as CIG Motors, CCECC, First Bank, the China Development Bank among others.
The event featured the launch of the Green Development Index in Africa and China, an initiative aimed at promoting sustainability and environmentally friendly practices across both regions.
