APBN, with 28 foremost registered, chartered and recognised professional bodies is Nigeria’s umbrella body of recognised professional institutes, institutions and associations that aims to promote cooperation among professionals.
President of APBN Mr Foluso Fasoto, in this year’s Summit of Professionals, urged President Buhari to partner with professional if the country must develop, saying “our members will offer their advice but there must be willpower on the part of the government to be able to accept the recommendations.”
Fasoto noted that “a country that is not making use of professionals cannot go far in the development of its affairs and that is why we are here to discuss and deliberate on issues; At the end of this deliberation we will have a blueprint for our members who are going to be part of this government and who are going to serve as consultants both to the government as well as Nigerian. We are calling on President Muhammadu Buhari and his team to listen to us by the time we are submitting our recommendations to him.”
