She made the call when a group of journalists from CoolWazobia Fm, Kano visited the school to inspire the students to strive hard to become great Nigerians.

The Principal explained that the school has produced prominent Nigerians like the wives of the Vice President, Amina Namadi Sambo and Senate president, Helen David Mark amongst others through focus on academic excellence and moral upbringing.

The journalists were visiting the school as part of a new initiative, Project Inspire, designed to encourage girl child education in the northern parts of Nigeria.

The Initiator of  the project, Gwen Oshoniyi (the grand duchess) who led the broadcasters on the visit said the project is part of her social responsibility as a broadcaster and that the project focuses on inspiring youths, especially students on career choice, potential development and general challenges of life ahead of them.

Other members of the team Nyanga, Zahilda, and Yasmin also spoke on Various Inspirational topics that touched on being humble, tolerant and working towards national unity.
