Psquare to drop new album in 2023

Legendary Nigerian Afrobeats duos, P-Square have declared their intention to release a new music project in 2023. Peter Okoye, commonly known as Mr. P, informed his followers in a statement on Twitter that the duo purposefully delayed the publication of their record in 2022 because they were on tour.

He added that they planned to put out their first collaborative album since getting back together in 2023.

In 2017, the two musicians chose to pursue single careers as tensions and internet fights grew between them. They made amends after four years, and later that year, they announced a reunion show. In 2022, following their reconciliation, they jointly released the singles: “Find Somebody” and “Jaiye.”

Following their reconciliation, they went on a 100-city reunion tour, headlining events all over the world and exciting fans with many of their well-known cherished songs.
