In a statement she issued yesterday in Abuja, Awah said the publishing house has instituted a National Creative Writing Competition for Children in order to encourage them to take on writing.
Awah said the winners of the 2013/2014 competition will be rewarded at a ceremony in Abuja, tomorrow, where a public presentation of Children’s Collection featuring the best stories and poems from the 2013/2014 competition would be made.
She said the competition, which holds annually, is open to children aged five to 16 years who are either of Nigerian origin or resident in Nigeria.
