Pyem Chiefdom stool tussle: fresh appeal filed at SC

The fresh appeal was filed following the withdrawal of the earlier appeal on the matter before the Supreme Court as some of the appellants indicated lack of interest in pursuing the appeal.
The appellant are praying for an order of the apex court for a joinder of Mr. Charles Mato Dakat as the 5 th respondent in the appeal  and to declare his selection on the 26 th November 2013 as the Sumpyem of pyem null, void and of no effect.
The appellant said that he should be stopped from parading himself as the Sumpyem of pyem pending the hearing and determination of the appeal by the Supreme Court.
The appellants Arch Hudu Ibrahim Mamomi and Adbullahi Abbas the Galadima Gindiri are seeking the order of court setting aside the decision of the Court of appeal Jos division delivered 26 January 2012 which nullified the selection exercise of 17 May 2004 that produced Arch Hudu Ibrahim Mamomi as the Sumpyem of pyem kingdom.
The appellants are seeking for an order affirming the decision of the High court of Plateau State delivered 13 April 2006 in Suit No. PLD/J/285/2004 which upheld the election of Arch. Hudu Ibrahim as the Sumpyem of pyem kingdom.
The appellants want the apex court to make consequential orders directing the Mangu LG council and the Plateau State Government (3 rd and 4 th Respondents ) to install Arch Hudu Ibrahim Mamomi as the Sumpyem of pyem kingdom with the payment of all accrued benefits and entitlement right from 17 th May 2004 till the date of judgment in the appeal.
