The Board of Directors of PZ Cussons Nigeria Plc has appointed a Portuguese, Mr Pedro Barreto as its new Chief Finance Officer effective 20th February 2018.

Barreto, who speaks Portuguese, English, Spanish and French, according to a statement from the firm, was appointed following the resignation of Mr. David Petzer, who left the company as the chief finance officer.

Barreto is finance professional with multinational companies in Africa, Asia and Europe.

He was the chief finance officer of the Ambrian Group before his appointment.

Barreto had held previous position as the CFO for Pepsi Africa and several roles in financial control and commercial finance with CIMPOR India.
