Workers under Nigeria Union of Railway Workers (NUR) has urged President Mohammadu Buhari to recover money looted by some unscrupulous politicians and greedy public servants.
The Secretary General of the Nigeria Union of Railway Workers, Comrade Segun Esan gave this charged in statement made available to news men.
He said that the leadership of the union summoned a special Central Working Committee (CWC) meeting where various issues and challenges confronting the nation were discussed.
“At the meeting, we agreed unanimously that corruption has been the major problem that has made true development elusive and largely impossible in Nigeria. Regrettably, those that are involved in high-scale corruption that has crippled and robbed this country of greatness and sustainable development are the politicians and public servants who are trusted with our collective patrimony”, Esan said.
