A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Gombe State, Alhaji Abubakar Habu Muazu, yesterday shared the sum of N10 million to officials of the party as Ramadan gift.
He said the donation was to assist the officials in the spirit of Ramadan, especially with the current economic challenges, to cater for the needs of their respective families.
Habu Muazu, who is also a senatorial aspirant for Gombe Central Senatorial District, explained that the gesture was to assist the party officials and loyalists to observe the Ramadan fasting comfortably.
Our correspondent reports that the N10m was shared to eight state executives from Gombe central, six zonal leaders, 594 local government executives from Akko and Yamaltu/Deba LGAs, as well as selected groups and social media teams in the two LGAs.
