Ramadan: Tinubu hosts traditional rulers, religious leaders at Aso Rock

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Monday hosted traditional rulers and religious leaders to an interfaith breaking of fast at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The event, which began at 7pm at the Presidential Banquet Hall, brought together leaders from the Christian and Muslim faiths and monarchs from across the country.

Before now, President Tinubu has hosted Governors, lawmakers and heads of security agencies to the Inter faith breaking of fast.

Among those present were, Vice President Kashim Shettima, Chief of Staff to the President Femi Gbajabiamila, and other top government functionaries.

The interfaith dinner is part of the President’s annual Ramadan tradition of hosting key stakeholders, during the holy month of Ramadan.

Muslims are currently in the month of Ramadan, while Christians continue the Lenten fasting ahead of the Easter celebration.
