The Emir of Dukku in Gombe State, Alhaji Haruna Abdulkadir Rasheed, has commended philanthropists for supporting orphans and the less privileged, especially during the month of Ramadan.
The emir stated this when he received Alhaji Bala Bello Tinka, and his entourage, during a courtesy call at his palace in Dukku town of Dukku Local Government Area of the state.

Emir Rasheed said the efforts of Bala Tinka and other businessmen through philanthropic services are wiping away the tears of orphans, the vulnerable, and other less privileged members and residents of the state.
He appreciated him for the visit, stating that Bala Tinka, who is the managing director of a construction company, Tinka Point Nigeria Limited, is a household name in Gombe North Senatorial District and beyond.
On his part, Bala Tinka, who is also a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state, said the visit was to console the emir and other sons and daughters of the Dukku LGA over various death and losses that occurred while he was out of the country.
