Rangaza community under the auspices of Tafarkin Tsira Development Association, Ungogo local government area of Kano state has donated new clothes to 24 orphaned children in the area.
The beneficiaries were selected from four localities of Rangaza, Inkyan, Kwajalawa and Dakata.
In his remarks, a Patron of the Association, Malam Alhassan Yusuf commended the association for the gesture and thanked those who contributed to the orphans in cash and in kind.
Yusuf said, “I want use this opportunity to appeal to other members of the community to also come forward and donate to the orphans through the association. The progress of these orphans is certainly ours because whatever they become in life, they will remember us and God will also reward us.”
On his part, the Chairman of the Association, Malam Rabi’u Kwajalawa, said the donation was aimed at putting smiles on the faces of the orphans and assured that the association would sustain the humanitarian services.
He said, “Not only sustaining the gesture, but we will expand our activities to cover more communities. This is the beginning; the sky will be our limit. We will make arrangements for the next exercise in such a way that the donation will be bigger.”
Kwajalawa, who commended members of the association for their sacrifice, urged them to double their commitment towards achieving the objectives set by the association.
