The forward made the remark as the Flying Antelopes prepare for Sunday’s showdown at impressive Sunshine Stars.

“It’s a different experience at Rangers. The entire team has been playing together which explains why we’re amongst the top teams. There is a great spirit in the team.

“Our teamwork is massive. The defence, attack, midfield and goalkeepers deserve to be praised for the results so far. It shows we can achieve more if we continue like this,” he told SuprSport.com on Friday.

Okwara predicted that Sunshine will have to work extra to contain the attack of Rangers.

“The Rangers attack is intimidating. We have brilliant forwards like Bertrand Ogbu, Uche Nwofor, Emeka Onuoha, Ejike Uzoenyi and Emeka Nwana, who is experienced.

“The attack will score goals on match day. I’m confident of victory against Sunshine,” he said.

The forward, who scored only four goals in the league last term expressed satisfaction with his personal achievement so far.

“I always work hard to convert chances that come my way. I have three goals so far and I believe more goals will come,” he stated. Okwara has spent his entire career in Nigeria’s elite class with Rangers. The Enugu based side have shocked their fans with an impressive start this term and have also recorded the highest goals in the NPL.
