Enugu Rangers maintained their top position after they defeated Bayelsa United 2-0 on Sunday in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) week 26 fixture played at the Samson Siasia Stadium in Yenagoa.
The “Flying Antelopes” scored in each half of the match for the important win that took them to 62 points, giving them a slim advantage over their closest rivals Rivers United who are second with 61 points.
Rivers United outclassed Abia Warriors 3-0 in Port-Harcourt to keep Rangers in sight as the curtains gradually fall on the 2025/2026 NPFL season.
