The charge came just as a member of the Oyo state Child protection Network (CPN) Pastor Marcus Williams raised alarm that the incidence of rape was on the increase in the state.
He however lamented that there was no family court in Oyo State to deal with growing cases of sexual molestation, rape and abuse of the girl-child in the state.
Professor Falaye said that although sexual abuse is a global problem, sexual exploitation of adolescent girls by predators is harmful and destructive to the victims and their families.
She spoke on the topic “Arresting Sexual Abuse with and on the Social Media” at a one-day seminar organised by the Head of Programmes, Splash 105.5 FM Ibadan, who doubles as an On-Air Personality, Oluwatoyin Adepoju, held at the Jogor Centre, in the Oyo State capital.
Professor Falaye who advised parents to discuss sex and be friendly with their children to understand what is happening to them noted that young girls are being exploited sexually through social media through chatting and sending messages to familiar and unfamiliar people.
She warned young girls to desist from engaging in online dating, posting of personal information, visiting sex rated sites, sending nude pictures to a guy or arranging to meet an online friend in an unfamiliar place.   
According to Pastor Marcus, children of divorced or separated parents were more likely to be victims of rape while some could be step brothers who sexually abused step daughters, some fathers sleep with their daughters and some teachers rape students.
He added that some acclaimed Alfas and pastors have been caught defiling or raping adolescent girls in the state.
“Rape and sexually molestation are rampant in religious settings in the state during prayers or when people return from night vigil”
While lamenting delayed justice for victims of rape in the state, he urged the police and court to speed up investigation and dispense judgment on rape cases saying cases of rape have spent over a year in law court.
This, according to him, demoralise victims of rape and allow sexual predators to continue their dastardly acts.
He therefore called for child protection policies in all schools while urging parents of victims of rape not to run away from prosecution of offenders in order to check the menace.
