We voted for them (senators) massively during the last election with full of hopes and confidence, but their conducts is diametrically opposed to the masses aspirations. The public perception on the institution of the Senate has totally changed from making laws for the benefit of the nation to formulating laws for the aggrandizement of its members.
Amid this budget impasse, instead of the senators to ensure that the 2016 budget is ready for president’s assents and subsequent implementation, to revamp the economy and  to ameliorate the sufferings of the masses, their major concern is the purchase of overpriced exotic jeeps.
In fact, this is another version of Boko Haram (Economic Boko Haram) and corruption in its highest order. To be sincere, how many lives will N35.1m changes considering the level of poverty, hunger and unemployment in the country? Honestly speaking, people are really sufferings, but may be till people starts falling and dying then, they will start thinking about them. They should remember that, tomorrow is another day and that they must account for all their actions and inactions.
