Additionally, Atiku Abubakar did not leave the party of his own accord. Now that time has come, he is back in the PDP, it is time for reconciliation. The experience he has gathered over the years in democracy and governance will help the party. The PDP has lost steam and the fire and name that it had before is no longer there.

The PDP needs to put its house in order. This party needs every one soul, including Atiku Abubakar to move ahead.

Whatever grievances, whatever interests, whatever little problems that manifested in the party must be buried behind us. As Atiku Abubakar, the former Vice-President has been recognized as an organizer, a man of courage, this party needs such a hand to succeed.

When such characters like Muammar Ghaddafi can call for the splitting of Nigeria, it is because they have seen there is no strong man on the seat of power.

I commend Mr Vincent Ogbulafor, the National Chairman of the PDP for supporting the come-back bid. Today, we need such understanding persons, so that we can consolidate the gains of the PDP and the gains of democracy.

All other Nigerians must see this sense of patriotism of Alhaji Abubakar; the Turaki Adamawa. There is need to cement the crevices that might have been created and move the party forward. Therefore, all hands must be on deck to support the move by Atiku Abubakar. After all, he was at the centre of it all
