The Builders’ Registration Act Cap B13 LFN 2004 authorizes registered builders to manage the processes /production of buildings through the regulatory body of CORBON (Council of Registered Builders of Nigeria).
It is therefore imperative that Nigeria as a civilized society closes ranks with all other construction professionals and allows builders to function as they should so as to rid the construction industry of illegitimate controllers of project sites parading themselves as experts.
When this is enforced by the government, building collapse will cease to occur.
