It’s really funny for the DPR to come bragging that it sealed a filling station. Where were you when 90 percent of the filling stations were selling above the regulated price? Is it only one filling station that you find guilty? While in B/Kebbi, apart from NNPC and Total there is no filling station that sells petrol below 180 naira. In fact with this increase of the scarcity, the price of a litre is now 200 no more no less. At a time one can go round the whole town without seeing any filling station dispensing to motorists.
Our farmers are also in a great danger of losing their rice and other farm product due to the fuel scarcity and hike on the price. So to me for the DPR to come out proudly and tell the world that it has shut a filling station in Kebbi, is not commendable.
