Mahmud Jega’s column titled, “Everyone blames everyone else”, has melted my heart. The piece which appeared on the last page of the Daily Trust newspaper, dated Monday, October3, 2016, delved on Nigeria’s 56 independence anniversary andculture of buck-passing among Nigerians. To begin with, the feeling of being Nigerianisin my mind always.
So, I am proud of being Nigerian. The fact is I hold firm that construction is far more difficultthan destruction.Apparently,rebuilding of the brutaldevastation by the previous PDP-led government is not a matter of one year or two years in office. It will require four years to rescue the country from calamitous condition.
Indeed, for me, I have nothing towardsthe current administration except enthusiasm. Besides,we must be grateful to God in allsituations in order to increase his favour andblessings for us.
EveryNigerian should be optimistic that 2018 will be the year ofthe economy would flourish as all thedevelopment programmes of the current administration suchas Mambila hydroelectric power project,self-sufficiency in food production, repair of ourfour refineries among others will be achieved.
