The question however is: did she do that with some ulterior motive, e.g. to gain some favours at the expense and detriment of Chibok people, or it was an innocent oversight? The statement credited to first lady to the effect that “She (Mrs Mutuah) should be arrested for impersonation” must have been interpreted as an order to arrest the lady by police, who accordingly implemented the order.
The  explanations by police that Mrs Mutauh “was only invited as part of measures  to get useful information that could help security agents find and rescue the female students “is clearly an afterthought. The intention is to cow these women into abandoning their objective of highlighting the fact of the abductions and the government’s inept response.
The first lady’s attempt to discredit the women by asserting that no girl was missing with a view to casting doubt in the minds of her audience is really, really troubling. She should do the nation a favour by stopping abusing people’s intelligence and advising her husband to hasten the rescue of our girls, otherwise she should leave the affected people-and the nation- to grieve in peace.
