When I read your well-written story about the Gawsiyya sect in Kaduna State, I thought to myself that this is the way Boko Haram began, and no-one knew we would be where we are today. While I understand and respect everyone’s right to religion, there truly should be a monitoring system so that every Tom, Dick, and Harry won’t just cook up a funny way to worship and declare it a sect. Finally, we should be mindful who we let our kids spend time with, so they are not indoctrinated into sects and cults.
