The mindset of those who sponsored the laughable article titled as above published in the February 2 issue of Daily Trust is without doubt devious. Because some people lost out in a power play, the writers are used under the canopy of a non-existent organization to malign respected public officers.
Typical of veranda boys, they can even resort to barefaced lies, manufactured and incubated from within their living rooms.  In listing what they called Shema’s “dictorial” (whatever the word means) it beats one’s imagination as to how they came to the conclusion that the governor of Katsina State refused to liaise with the Presidential Security.  Unless the writers are painting the office of the SSS, NSA, and CSO as incompetent, there is no foundation for their assertion.   For the records, there was no point in time where Governor Ibrahim Shema received any complaint, verbal or written, from office of any ‘Presidential Security’ for non-compliance with security arrangements.
  The writers made their case even worse by not minding that the president never went to the Presidential Campaign Office during the visit, nor was it launched.  Though I don’t mean to make issues in the names the writers conveniently termed as “qualified personalities”, it would be a matter for another day.  Qualified indeed!
 But I would do justice to the names listed, for it’s still dicey on weather their consent was sought for that offensive article.  The barrage received by a decent man on every account, who by virtue of decency and divine intervention got the nod to fly the flag of our great Party is revealing as to the source of the sponsored piece.  I wonder how spending more than 4 days in a state became a criterion for contesting any office, either in the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria or of the PDP.  What the writers defined as ‘popular’ is still fuzzy.  But even so, what is the PDP’s barometer on measuring popularity?  The piece is so opaque as to really grasp its intended message.  Is it on protocol arrangement? Is it complaining on behalf of those listed as the losers of the gubernatorial primaries? Is it on security arrangement?
Whatever the case is, Governor Shema is the highest stakeholder in the PDP, Katsina State and in the President’s Security and can in no way debase his or the president’s person and office in a manner meant to embarrass both.  The governor has never been known to have anything that would endanger the lives and property of the citizens of Katsina State he has protected for close to eight years now.  Nothing should be expected from the governor other than total loyalty and unconditional support to Katsina, the federal government and the president.
