Re: Kebbi 2015: Struggle for power shift thickens

This rejoinder would not be necessary if the Malam Garba was fair, just and balanced in reporting events that took place in Zuru.  I believe the good people of Zuru have seen the write-up as the real distraction to a sincere cause by our respected elders.
In the publication, Garba Muhammad ridiculed himself in a futile attempt to justify and curry the favours of his sponsors. I was at a loss when he alleges that Alhaji Wakala committee has a soft spot to a particular candidate who he claims, again, has the support of the Presidency. We in Zuru Emirate know Alhaji Wakala Diri as forthright and an apostle of justice any day. He cannot stoop so low to rubbish what he has built over the years. We also know that the Wakala committee was primarily mandated to solicit for support of other two Senatorial Zones to allow power to shift to Kebbi South and not to favour or select a candidate for Zuru as its candidate. Garba Muhammad exposed himself when he misinformed the unsuspecting reading public on some verifiable issues like the 2015 prayer vigil where the name of one Sheikh Hamza Balarabe was given as the Chief Imam of Zuru when we know Liman Labbo is the Chief Imam of Zuru. The author of that piece could not have come from Zuru or he was paid to play mischief by rubbishing our revered generals and accomplished businessmen in Zuru who are being touted to contest in the next gubernatorial election.
I make bold to say some people are not happy with what is going on in the present Zuru politics and are bent on scuttling its 2015 project. I suspect these people have gotten a prey in their bait and have thus, sworn he will pay for his past misdemeanour. I could not believe that the writer allowed himself to be used in the campaign ploy to belittle Zuru 2015 project. He alleged that a young man, who is a Deputy Director in the MDG, has the support of the Presidency to contest for Governor in Kebbi State.  This young man need to be counselled by experienced political players with a view to avoid pitfalls along his way.
While questioning the integrity of the writer in the distorted write up, the young man in the MDG should be alert on the consequences of allowing himself to be used in uncouth voyage.  I therefore demand; on behalf of “We the people of Zuru Emirate” that the MDG young man should publically dissociate his person from that write up and call this writer to order and advised him to be more matured when next he receives his mantra. We shall judge people with their yesterday because their appearance today is shrouded to deceive us so that our tomorrow becomes uncertain.
The whole set-up was drafted to intimidate the people but ended up exposing the nakedness and nobility of the young man in politics. The desperation for new job for some staff of the MDG after 2015 became glaring in our young man; who is relishing on government largesse thrown at him at MDG office. I trust Zuru people are not so daft not to notice the sudden stupendous wealth and estate acquired by our MDG self anointed gubernatorial candidate within a short period of time.
His foray into politics remains laughable because of his antecedents as condemned even by his close friends.
The use and reference to unsolicited connection has exposed him the more. We know of the extant rule on Public Servants that wants to go into politics or has the Federal Civil Service Commission given waivers to some people to actively participate in politics without resigning their appointment? The Garba Muhammad that scripted the piece played ignorant to the fact that the young man is not a card-carrying member of PDP, which adorn his posters in Zuru. This action by his deceivers has further ridiculed the PDP chain of command in Kebbi State. Did the State Chapter of PDP become so docile that it will wait for the alleged Presidency to impose a candidate on it?
Well, it is not my business to speak for the party but it is my legitimate right to express my concern when people are paid to distract our common cause and again, allegations abound that
stupendous wealth were deployed to destroy the Zuru 2015 project by its own people.
The recent activities at the Annual Uhola festival, ably chaired by General Ishaya Bamayi (Rtd) were attestation that, certainly, Zuru people have realized the importance of speaking with one voice in the pursuit of its Kebbi 2015 project. He warned people outside the Emirate not to divide the people for their own selfish interest. The people of Zuru would not be distracted by political novices and desperados in their quest to reap where they did not sow. My honest advise to the young man is to go to school and learn the A-Z of politics. Therein he will learn to appreciate the importance of the locals he detested and distanced himself from before now.
I wish to, however, commend the behaviour of our respected people; especially those being invited to answer the call for Kebbi South legitimate struggle for 2015. It was very obvious that they exhibited matured and discipline in their conduct. I wish to also commend, most sincerely, the maturity exhibited by the governor of Kebbi State Alhaji Saidu Nasamu Dakin Gari by being focused and not allowing any distraction from the so called influence of an unknown figure to be imposed on the people. What more can I say from the good leadership qualities from the Kebbi State chapter of the PDP for being resolute in given everybody equal chance to  express their civic responsibilities.
