Re: Moments for true confessions at Tinubu’s APC reconciliation committee hearing

President Muhammadu Buhari may not be aware of the hidden potential harvests of historic fortunes and indelible legacies of political benefits he has set in motion to not only consolidate and preserve his political policies of change doctrine but equally enhance new frontiers of democratic values and sustainable praxis, given the profound expectations, opportunities and impacts, that the landmark  Ahmed Bola Tinubu’s constituted APC Reconciliation Committee is likely to catalyze for the revival and reinforcements of enduring values and traditions of democratic practices in the country, beyond even its current mandate and terms of reference, that is limited to the APC crisis.

However, whatever our narrow perceptions about this important political assignment, nobody can fault its contemporaneous aptness and timely inevitability, against the prevailing atmosphere of political anarchy and uncivilised misdemeanours in our country, which have become unacceptable daily routines, rather than accidental exceptions to the rule.

And there couldn’t have been a more mature and credible decision than President Buhari’s instinctively superlative choice of the National Leader of the APC , Ahmed Bola Tinubu, ‘who had made several unsuccessful attempts to nib the raging inferno in the bud, before escalating to its current naked fury.

Now, ‘the die is cast’, for the actualisation of PMB’s bold steps to enforce needed discipline, organic order and sense of purpose, not only to the APC, but to equally and indirectly promote new democratic values and sustainable practices for politicians and political players across the board in the country.  In the final context, all Nigerian politicians, in fact all Nigerians are on trial for obstructing and jeorpadizing the holistic process of applying global best practices in our pursuit of political power and authority.

If this succeeds, it will be a remarkable and major breakthrough and the PMB administration can take pride and credit in bequeathing to Nigeria and Nigerians an enduring democracy.
