This brings to mind our get-rich-quick attitude, which in this case is cruel and uncivilized. This is also another case of the failure of our government to apprehend such dubious merchants. If I may ask, where were the NNPC, security agents and other agencies concerned when such unscrupulous traders were committing such heinous crime? Our government should make the product available so as to reduce the risk of buying the adulterated ones. The government should also wake up to its responsibility to its citizenry; it is unwise to watch its innocent citizens suffering and dying in the hands of inhuman greedy traders who want to make money at any cost. And the security agents should hunt and seize the adulterated kerosene and make the culprits to face the full wrath of the law.
