Polytechnic lecturers have been on strike for over seven months now and yet nothing has been done about it. Perhaps because poly students are not the children of the so-called rich and powerful who’s who in the country, then they can as well go to seed. That same groups or classes of people who have looted the nation enough to send their children to schools in other foreign countries are the people being indifferent to what is happening.
Yes there is no money but the lecturers were on strike when over seven billion naira was approved for the ongoing unconstitutional conference which is certainly primed to fail just like of its similar types in the past.
I am pretty sure that if any of the children of the now unconcerned leaders were in those schools, something must have been done to address this lingering strike. The students are crying and you and whoever you represent do not “give a damn”. Well it is a matter of time and nemesis will soon catch up with you for the future of these children which you jeopardize so callously, will never allow you to rest.
