Karshi was founded 700 years ago, the founder of Karshi migrated from Kano during the Islamic Jihad, the founder who was known as Danbaba refused to accept Islam for his traditional religion,  he prefer dancing than prayers, hence the name GWANDARAWA DA SALLAH and that is where the natives derive their name GWANDARA.
The entire Karshi Community is a homogeneous society with Gwandaras the speaking language. Any other tribe you may be find within the community are settlers who came to Karshi, because of the coming of Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and fertile land for farming such people are Gwari, Tiv and so on.  Gade are one of the cohabitant.
His Royal Highness the Sarkin Karshi Alh Ismaila Mohammed is not happy with the reporter one Mr Terna Doki who conducted the interview with some immigrants who claim to be natives of Karshi.  Chief Sule Audu Maiganga is a Gwari man; he should stop parading himself as a native of Karshi.  If sule Audu or whatever he calls himself, wants to speak on behalf of Gwari people, he should go back to Karu or Kurape which belongs to the Gwaris, where he will have a loud voice to speak.
It is should be noted that a Gwandara man cannot speak of anything in Karu where Gwari are predominant.  Therefore, FCDA should come out clearly and tell the natives of Abuja, Karshi inclusive the truth of their status in Abuja even if it’s going to take them 50years before the demolition exercise.  So that everybody will be aware and get prepared for the raining day and not to be taken unaware.
His Royal Highness, Alh Ismaila Mohammed expressed his disappointment over the interview which was conducted with a mere settler by the reporter.  People like Alhaji Tanko Abubakar Galadiman Karshi, Alhaji Musa S Telle Director of Adminitration Ministry of Defence.  Alh Awaje Awaja Madakin Karshi is there to give detailed account of Karshi and not Gwari man.  I urge the Gbagyi living community in Karshi to call Mr Sule Audu to order to stop insinuating on what he does not know.
