Sanusi Abubakar’s analysis on the roles expected from the new reengineered Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN) under a new CEO, has what it takes to run an institution based on its original statutes that will go a long way in remodeling these enterprises at the grassroots as major key players in job creation to enhance the country’s Gross Domestic Product that has a direct bearing on the economy. There is no doubt about the fact that developing this sector at the grassroots is an automatic assurance of a solid economic base and a stable polity which should get the support of all and sundry.
