However, vulnerable populations such as women, children, the elderly, and people living in poverty often face significant barriers to accessing healthcare. These barriers can include a lack of financial resources, limited availability of healthcare facilities, and inadequate healthcare services.

Therefore, strengthening health financing accountability is crucial in improving healthcare for vulnerable populations. Health financing accountability involves ensuring that health resources are used effectively and efficiently to achieve the best possible health outcomes for the population it is also important to understand that the framework can take many forms, including financial transparency, stakeholder engagement, and performance monitoring.

As a result, Thailand has achieved significant improvements in health outcomes, including a reduction in maternal and child mortality rates.
