With regard to the article which was published in the Daily Trust on 20 July 2016 with the above title by Tunde Asaju, I will like to bring to your attention the followings:
In the said article, the writer used very rude expressions about H.E. Recep Tayyib Erdogan, President of the Republic of Turkey. His language is too far beyond using democratic right of criticism. Press freedom does not let anyone to use such expressions for the democratically elected President of the Republic of Turkey.
Civilians and Turkish National Police stood against the coup attempt in Turkey in the expense of their lives. We lost 246 people and have approximately 1500 casualties. The Turkish nation protected their democratically elected president and members of the parliament, who symbolise our democracy.
Once again, I strongly deplore the language of the writer and request apology from the writer for the Turkish president and nation.
