Why is the 2019 budget lower than that of 2018?. I believe that having a budget above that of 2018, will pave way for developmental projects which will have direct bearing on the life of the common man.

Meanwhile, health is said to be the wealth of every individual, why is it that the sector is being given only N13 billion? In my opinion, the healthcare sector should be given top priority in the budget, to be followed by the education sector.

Most of the remote areas in Yobe State do not have healthcare centres.  Some of such areas are; Ngalda, Anze, Dumbulwa, Kerem, Godowoli and Bakuna. In fact, people in Ngalda have to go to Nafada in Gombe State for medical treatment.

I, therefore, urge the Yobe State government to review the budget.
