Malam Ibrahim Shekarau is yet to recover from the defeat he suffered in the hand of the All Progressives Congress (APC). Although the former governor of Kano State is entitled to his opinion, he does not have facts. What he said might be completely off the trail. Where did Buhari fail Nigerians? Is it by flushing out and crushing the faithless Boko Haram members from Sambisa Forest or by blocking the free flow of our common wealth to some individuals, or the recruitment of 200, 000 jobless graduates under the N-Power scheme? These graduates are expecting to receive their first allowances this December. 

In a desperate bid to bring down the Buhari government, Shekarau became an ardent critic with unsubstantiated allegations. One wonders why such a consummate teacher refused to see and acknowledge all the laudable achievements of President Buhari. This is the right time for Shekarau to repent from deceit as nobody is prepared to listen to him.
