Three students have been awarded tickets to attend the next lesser Hajj and a cash prize of five hundred thousand naira each at the concluded reading competition organised by NUSRET.
The organisation awarded the best 3 Umrah package (ticket to lesser Hajj) during the award ceremony held on Sunday in Kano.

Daily Trust reports earlier that Bayero University, Kano in collaboration with NUSRET Educational and Cultural limited has organised a national reading competition titled “Let Us Read”.
The reading competition is focused on the book authored by Sheikh Fethullahi Gulen, a Turkish scholar, about the biography of the Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon Him).
After the first stage, which was conducted online, on 12th February this year, 300 individuals were selected as winners that further contested for the second stage physically at the designated areas nationwide. 51 people emerged awardees from which the three were fortunate to win the ticket to the lesser Hajj and N500,000 cash.
The remaining 48 were categorised and given 400,000; 200,000; 100,000; 50,000; 25,000 each respectively.
Speaking, one of the best winners at the award ceremony, Abubakar Said Abba from Zamfara State, expressed his delight as he emerged among the best 10 winners..
