Reality of suspension of Ya’u Shehu Abubakar

In recent times, the media is awash with rumours about the actual truth behind the suspension of the District Head of Burra, Ningi Local Government Area of Bauchi State. Some sponsored writers have painted the media red with fallacies that the district head was suspended because he is fighting deforestation in the area.

The rumours are misleading because they lack substance or credibility as both the Executive Chairman of Ningi L.G.A, Mamuda Tablesco and the Ningi Emirate are also working to stop deforestation in the said area and, for that purpose, the chairman has organized several bodies to carry out the tasks.

The stories they shared in the media are subterfuges that were meant to ingratiate the district head with people’s concerns and pity. They are trying to characterize the district head ostensibly to beguile people into believing that he was suspended for doing the right thing. They are merely trying to seek people’s commiserations for him by sharing the unfounded information.

Therefore, people should disregard any rumour over in the media about the suspension of the district head. The truth is that he has to obey his senior colleagues in serving the community as provided by the relevant law to that effect.
