Reality TV show unveils season 3, targets bigger impact for women above 40

The organisers of the 40andFabulousNaija Reality TV Show have announced the launch of Season 3, promising a bigger and more transformational edition aimed at empowering Nigerian women aged 40 and above.

Speaking at a press conference in Abuja, the Chief Executive Officer of Mother of Models International and creator of the show, Ambassador Jolly Nnenna Abani, said the platform was designed to challenge stereotypes about ageing and reposition mature women as vibrant contributors to society.

“Life begins at forty—and fabulous—that is exactly what this show is all about. For far too long, women in their 40s have been marginalized and discouraged from pursuing their dreams. 40andFabulousNaija was created to celebrate and unlock their untapped potential,” Abani said.

According to her, the show selects 10 housemates each season from thousands of auditioning women. The participants live together for one month while receiving mentorship and training rooted in Christian values across personal development, counselling, beauty and fashion, health and wellness, and entrepreneurship.

“At the end of the journey, the winner goes home with ₦10 million and a brand-new car,” she added.

Abani described the previous editions as highly successful, noting that Season One reached over three million households via DSTV and GOtv, while Season Two expanded its audience to more than 10 million households through AIT, StarTimes, DSTV, GOtv and digital platforms.

“Season 3 is here with a bang—bigger, bolder, more inspiring and more impactful,” she said.

She announced that the new season will begin airing on StarTimes Network from Tuesday, January 20, on Nollywood Plus and Nollywood Epic channels, and on AIT from Saturday, January 24.

The show will also stream across its social media platforms.
Calling on corporate organisations and media partners to support the initiative, Abani said the programme offers brands access to a loyal and influential demographic.

“40andFabulousNaija is not just entertainment; it is transformational storytelling and a movement redefining womanhood and excellence at every age,” she said.

The Season 3 Grand Finale is scheduled to hold on March 21, 2026, at the Congress Hall of Transcorp Hilton, Abuja.
